Easter Events at Germasogeia Municipality 2017


The Municipality of Germasogeia, is organising once more its Easter Events that revive the culture and customs of our country, and is looking forward to the attendance of all the municipality residents and visitors, aiming to give a special meaning to this effort.

For this purpose, the Municipal Council prepared the following program:

Programme:

Easter Monday – 17/4/2017
At 16:00 in the afternoon, traditional games are scheduled, such as sack races, spoon races, games with oranges/lemons, rope/galley, etc. at the Hunters park, in the village of Germasogeia next to the stadium (artificial turf).
At the same place, during the event:
There will be presented entertainment with traditional dances from Swing Latino Dance School (Koulla Herodotou) and the Dance Team of Germasogeia Cultural Group under the guidance of Costas Kareklas along with music from a professional DJ.
There will be bouncy castles for the children
SKE Germasogeia will be operating a kiosk where drinks and soft drinks and a variety of food (resi and koupes) will be sold.
Easter Tuesday – 18/4/2017
At 17:00, in the afternoon, a football match will be held between ‘Married vs Single”, at the stadium (plastic turf) in the Village of Germasogeia.
At 19:00 in the evening, in the same area a raffle will be carried out, and the proceeds will be donated to SKE Germasogeia.
Sunday of Thomas the Unbeliever - 23/04/2017
In the afternoon, between 4:00-7:00 Traditional Games will be held in the court of the Holy Church of Ayia Paraskevi. The Games will be organized by Ayia Paraskevi Church, in cooperation with the Cultural Group of Germasogeia, the Council of Parents and Guardians of all three Primary Schools of Germasogeia and the Community Childcare Station and shall be under the auspices of Germasogeia Municipality.
