Three day Easter program for children at the Foundation of Cultural Creativity for Children and Young People.
The Foundation of Cultural Creativity for Children and Young People, Larnaka offers this year, after last year's success, the Easter program "I Create...Through Tradition". An educational yet entertaining program that aims to promote traditional Cypriot culture, for children from six to twelve years old, while enhancing creativity, teamwork and personal development.

In the three-day program, which will run from April 10-12, children will have the opportunity to make improvised musical instruments and create rhythmic improvisation based in the Cypriot tradition of ‘Chatista’, to create a framed project on Lefkaritiko embroidery; make a clay pencil case with traditional motifs; design their own dolls in traditional Cypriot costume; dye reeds used in traditional basketry; make 3D models of traditional Cypriot architecture, write short stories and listen to folk stories, among other fun activities.
Along with the teachers and professionals who accompany the program, the Foundation's aim is to offer this year memorable experiences for children that will remind them, even after the program ends, the rich tradition of Cyprus.
The Foundation of Cultural Creative for Children and Youth, Larnaca was founded by the Ministry of Education and it operates as a non-profit, non-governmental organization since July 2010 with the support of the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture as well as with the support of the Municipality of Larnaca.
Its purpose is creativity, to provide equal access and participation in cultural goods, enhancing multiculturalism, promotion and preservation of cultural identity and generally contributing to any cultural and artistic programs and events.
