Amikeco - Loukia & Michael Zampelas Art Museum

Using the puppet as one of the most extraordinary theatrical instruments, we travel to a sweet and nostalgic world, where Amikeco, a protagonist, demonstrates the power of love and the value of true friendship.

The name Amikeco derives from Esperanto, the most widely used international language created to harmonize the different peoples of the world. In this unique language, amikeco means friendship.
Following Esperanto's noble conception of intercultural communication among the people of all nations, the performance "Amikeco" exclusively uses music.

Without words and words, the theatrical work attempts to use music as a universal communication tool. Moreover, music has always allowed the expression of impressions and emotions, regardless of space and time. In this performance, the melody, written specifically for Amikeco, plays the second leading role.
The composition of the music was exclusively and specifically for Amikeko, will accompany him through many adventures, looking for something very important for him, something that the viewers will discover along the way!
