The European Capital of Culture Pafos2017 will close its curtains with a significant theatrical production on a work by the former Mayor of Pafos, Christodoulos Galatopoulos. Pagkosmion Asma is produced by the Cyprus University Theatrical Workshop (THEPAK). By honouring Galatopoulos and his social, political as well as poetic achievements, Pafos2017 wishes to bring forth the spiritual activity of the city in the first half of the 20th century. This particular work has been selected as Galatopoulos' most ambitious venture, one that successfully indicates the island’s contribution to Modern Greek literature.
