"Keratea: the black gold of Cyprus"


The Cyprus Food Virtual Museum recalls memories of the close connection of the island with the carob and its derivatives.

A documentary and a photography exhibition organized by Paschalis Papapetrou and Nikos Avraamides respectively.

A lecture on the importance of the carob tree in the history of Cyprus. A presentation on the valuable benefits of the carob for the human health.
