The European Capital of Culture – Pafos2017 and the “Ktima” Folklore Association promote Cypriot tradition but also build bridges between the town of Pafos and the outer world by presenting traditional music and dances from other countries. The Town Hall Square welcomes groups from Pafos, Thessaloniki, Crete and the Basque country in a journey of Cypriot and other traditions, through sounds, images and flavours.
Events include among others the production of zivania, a photographic exhibition, traditional objects and occupations, as well as the production of traditional delicacies.
